Dear CardiO2 and CPX/D Customer:
As an owner of a CardiO2 and/or CPX/D system, you have enjoyed
unparalleled cardiopulmonary testing accuracy and efficiency. This
letter affects system owners who purchased either system before
October 1998. The availability of certain electrical components
has challenged our ability to service CardiO2 and CPX/D systems.
The costs associated with servicing this equipment has increased
to a point that, effective January 1, 2006, we
will not be able to offer service contracts on these systems. Although
Medical Graphics will attempt to service these systems, the lack
of availability of electrical components and difficulty finding
computers that will properly run these systems has created a support
issue.
We are contacting you with advance notice so that you can plan
accordingly. We want to work with you so that you can transition
into new technology. Therefore, Medical Graphics is offering you
an opportunity to acquire the newest digital technology with a trade
in value for your existing system. The “Trade UP”
